Poster proposal for the Oui Theatre Festival in Barcelona

Participé en el concurso de diseño del cartel del festival de teatro Oui. Para ello, el tema era libre y, tras una investigación, hice dos propuestas. Una contiene elementos relacionados con el teatro, como la cortina y las personas que ven y participan en la obra, y la otra se centra en la dicotomía entre Barcelona y Francia debido a la influencia francesa en la ciudad de Barcelona.

I participated in the poster design contest for the Oui Theatre Festival. For this, the theme was open, and after some research, I made two proposals. One includes elements related to theater, such as the curtain and the people who watch and participate in the play, while the other focuses on the dichotomy between Barcelona and France due to the French influence in the city of Barcelona.

La elección de la tipografía se hizo para lograr cohesión con el logotipo del festival. Se optó por una fuente sans serif básica y altamente legible, ya que debía ser accesible para todo el público.

The choice of typography was made to achieve cohesion with the festival's logo. It is a basic and highly legible sans serif font, as it needed to reach all audiences.

Como podéis ver, en la primera propuesta, el título del festival Oui está sobre la lona del teatro, y en este plano donde también aparece la información maquetada, se observan algunas personas. En segundo plano, se representa el suelo, mostrando la otra parte del teatro, es decir, la audiencia, con personas viendo la obra. En la segunda propuesta, tenemos la Casa Batlló como icono de Barcelona y la Torre Eiffel de París.

As you can see, in the first proposal, the title of the Oui festival appears on the theater marquee, and in this layout where the information is also displayed, some people are depicted. In the background, the floor represents the other part of the theater, the audience, with people watching the performance. In the second proposal, we have the Casa Batlló as an icon of Barcelona and the Eiffel Tower from Paris.
